How could i change Graphics or Text on my S1 MP3 Player? Its very simple, just extract and repair your firmware using s1fwx. Then run s1res and edit the extracted firmware file directly. Save the file and upload it using the original MP3 Update Tool.
Why does this stupid overflow warning appears when I want to save my changes? If you have opened a firmware file directly (don't care whether it's the AFI or FW part) instead the resource file itself (eg. UI30.RES), then you are only able to make changes. It's NOT allowed to make resource items grow in size during this edit mode. Currently, the only way to make items grow, is to replace any string item with a larger text. During saving, this overhead gets cutted off at the end. To prevent this warning and possible data loss, you could try to remove other, unused language strings from the same item before you save your changes.
